Children worked with artist Kerris Casey - St Pierre to re-create the Great fire of London!  A city of buildings were created exploring combustible and non-combustible materials. 

After completion the city were set on fire so that the children were able to learn about fire safety, supported by LCC Fire & Rescue Service, and about how materials change.

This was part of a larger project entitled 'Making Things Work' during which children worked with many practitioners and organisations in including drama workers, musicians, Design and Technology Consultants and Rolls Royce!
