Mid Pennine Gallery brings contemporary visual arts exhibitions and events to audiences in East Lancashire and further a field, exhibiting work of national and international significance. 

Mid Pennine Gallery’s Artist in Residence Programme started in 2007.  It provides visitors, including school, college and university students, with an opportunity to meet professional artists, see them at work in situ in the gallery, catch an Artist Talk, and chat informally to the artists about current exhibition and art practice.
