Anne Charnock is the fourth invited artist to take part in Mid Pennine Gallery’s Artist in Residence Programme.  The residency programme provides an experience and informal learning opportunity for the visitor.  Anne will set up studio in the gallery for one day only.  The nature of the day is relaxed and informal to encourage visitors to engage with the artist in a gallery setting.  A formal talk will not be given but Anne will lead exhibition tours and talk about her art practice and current exhibition.  Anne is willing to answer any questions and will happily chat to visitors about how she arrived at being a professional artist after starting a career in journalism, her experience of being a member of Suite Studio Group in Salford and her future projects. 

Bookings:

For individuals or groups of less than 10 there is no need to book, just call in between 10am and 4pm. 

If you are planning on bringing a group of 10 or more please telephone Rebecca on 01282 421986 to reserve your place. Schools, Colleges and Universities are encouraged to bring students to the gallery to view the exhibition and talk to the artist.

Mid Exhibition Preview Evening:

Friday 12th September, 5pm - 8pm

Everyone is welcome to come to Mid Pennine Gallery for a mid exhibition event to view a major installation of the Uncertainty Series and celebrate the launch of Certainty Suspended, a supporting publication.  Bring your friends and join us for a social evening of drinks and nibbles and an opportunity to meet the artist, Anne Charnock.
