REMADE Creative Regeneration

The REMADE Creative Engagement Programme works with communities to consult and encourage value of the sites, allowing the recognition of new usages for the areas.


Mid Pennine Arts has been appointed to project manage the programme, the overall aims of  are to: 

 

  - Embed creativity and the arts into the strategic regeneration process


  - Work with the REMADE team on the physical regeneration of selected key sites


  - Enable communities and artists to influence, shape and adapt their environment


  - Commission and create high quality art in the public realm


  - Add a creative dimension to the resulting green spaces and facilities


  - Develop an enhanced sense of place within local communities


  - Promote and enhance Lancashire's heritage and cultural tourism offer


  - Demonstrate innovative processes and best practice that will inform future work

    Padiham Greenway
    This REMADE Creative Regeneration project involved the redevelopment and transformation of a derelict railway line between Rosegrove and Padiham in Burnley to a greenway.

    The Peel Park Creative Engagement programme ran from early 2010 to April 2012 and consisted of two distinct creative projects.
